Header Row Detection: Automatically detect and use the first row as column headers.
Data Type Inference: DataStripes will try to infer number, date, and text types automatically.
Error Handling: Invalid rows are highlighted for review before finalizing the import.
Exporting Data
Click the Export button in the toolbar.
Select the desired format: PDF, HTML, or CSV.
Choose which sheets and ranges to export (all sheets, current sheet, or selection).
Configure export options (include formulas, formatting, or comments).
Download the exported file or send it directly via email (if enabled).
Advanced Export Features
Multi-sheet Export: Each sheet is exported as a separate section in the output file.
Scheduled Exports: Set up automated exports to run at specific times and deliver to email recipients.
Custom Templates: Use export templates for consistent formatting and branding.
Tips & Best Practices
Exported files retain most formatting, formulas, and comments.
Use scheduled exports for recurring reports or backups.
Always review the export preview before confirming.
For large datasets, consider exporting only relevant sheets or filtered data.
Troubleshooting
If import fails, check file format and encoding (UTF-8 recommended).
For export issues, ensure you have permission to download files or send emails.
If data appears misaligned, review column mapping during import.
Import and export in DataStripes are designed for flexibility and reliability, supporting both simple and advanced workflows for all your data needs.
